Amanda Avalos is a visual artist born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She received her Bachelors of Fine Art in Photography with a minor in Art History from Pratt Institute in 2021, and is currently residing in Brooklyn, New York.
Avalos’ work revolves around her complex relationship to the human psyche and body, as well as the environment and people around her.
Commonly working on long term projects, Avalos addresses subjects such as psyche fragmentation, mental disorders, human bonds, social constructs, and more.
